My father's friend has been really nice lately. It's almost like having an uncle again.

It's really nice to be home. The studio was held up very well at least, and it's good to have Diabound-san staying with us. He's a better houseguest than I'd be....

There seem to be a lot of job openings, recently. It's nice they offer benefits even with little or no previous experience.

...I wish I knew why I kept waking up at this time. It's not as if it gets any louder here; there's barely any sound, really.

...well, the subject title's a little off. But we're back now--Malik and I are, I mean. And yes we got married....

Someone approached me about a new job, that seems fairly high end. They'd like to see if I can learn to use video cameras. I probably should have mentioned how many normal cameras I broke before I got this job ^^ But it'll help pay the rent, so I'll give it a try.

The streets around the park and cemetary are really beautiful right now. Soon the leaves will all drop off and be raked up, which is a little disappointing, but for now it's nice. I sometimes wish I'd gone into nature photography instead, but I never had much talent with that. It's harder to bring things out in a tree than it is in a person, because...well, trees can't act.

I think I might do a photo documentary of some type, just in my off time. Maybe just for me. This town is so famous and so busy, there have to be interesting things going on all over.

The hotel was nice. Kage-san and Malik have found a few jobs. I'll never get used to seeing Malik on television ._.

It probably doesn't even need to be said anymore, but I got lost again. I met a woman who knew about runes, though--I think she was visiting Cairo from England, but I'm not sure...she spoke Japanese pretty well for a foreigner, though. And she's going to teach me how to read runes and cards, as well, if I teach her more Japanese.

...and then I found my way home and found out my boyfriend has learned how to do animated videos.

Yesterday (sort of still today I guess) was my birthday.... I'm glad that I celebrated it. ^_^ I'm 20 now...and I don't feel any older than I did yesterday, but I do feel...better.
